Where the Adventures Begin!

Come Inside and Travel with Me, Back to Once Upon A Time...Z

Welcome to Fall!

I'm Back! I've finally took a vacation and I spent the summer by the pool  reading dozens of books. I posted pictures, quotes, and short videos on my social sites through out summer, but I confess, I was more interested in reading an adventure and daydreaming with the clouds, as I floated around the clear blue water. Peace on the Water, I can always find myself there.

Now, I am recharged and it's back to taking care of business and posting new material on Onceuponatime.enterprises.

Daydreaming let me comtemplate new thoughts and ideas on my pursuits and directions. Taking the time to think about "things" instead of having

dozens of thoughts crowded in my head, I now know where I want to go.

I am making changes and taking names, LOL! Thank you for stopping by!

***Watch for the new additions to the blog and check out my links, I'd love to know what you think, reach out and connect with me!

There will, of course, be alot of new posts from my summer of reading books on Book Reviews by ZetaZoo.

Learning to Use Psychic Abilities

Path Of The Psion: Ultimate Guide To Learning Psychic AbilitiesPath Of The Psion: Ultimate Guide To Learning Psychic Abilities by Adam Dasuwatto
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Psychic –Path of the Psion Ultimate Guide to Learning Psychic Abilities
By Adam Dasuwatto
At first, the introduction was difficult to follow. The terminology is more for an advanced student not a beginner like me. Even though I know word origins and meanings, the concept of the terms eluded me at this stage. I kept reading and the first five chapters take you through the lessons you must master before moving further into the advance chapters and lessons. I found myself visualizing as I read subconsciously, and experienced dizziness and nauseous that was also reported by his beta testers. Successful at beginning visualization techniques and exciting! The author gives specific examples and instructs the methods that have been successful and warning of correct ways to use psychic mediums.
I have read through for this review but I interpret the book as a guide or a handbook in learning each level and advancing to the next level. Level one will take a lot of practice and patience and I may never master it. Some people are more open and have a genetic disposition or family history of psychic events, premonitions, visions, sixth sense, and superstitions. I think everyone has experienced some type of psychic event in their life. There are stories of amazing feats of strength occurring in an emergency, like a father who lifted a car of his son, pinned beneath, a feeling or intuition that something is wrong and by paying attention someone is saved. There are those with religious beliefs of the laying on of hands, healing hands, prayers, and silently sending positive energy to a loved one, like to your child competing in an event “Go! Go! Go!”
There are many psychic examples of healing hands and focusing our energy and projecting to others. Everything is energy and learning to harness it and focus it for good would be a great skill to learn and master. This guide to learning is a journey in focusing any physic abilities you have and harnessing your skills. It is going to take a long time for some of us, be prepared to practice.

Split Aces!

LifeguardLifeguard by James Patterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Split Aces!

Ned Kelly, Lifeguard in Palm Beach, had the perfect job and now he had finally found the perfect woman on that beach. The problem was she was out of his league, financially, meaning she was money and he had none. In fact, Ned came from a family of cons, thieves, and jail time. He had stayed out of the games of chance and focused on ballgames winning him an athletic scholarship. He did that, did the job thing, and still bad luck followed so he went south, finding a job of leisure suited him fine.
Ned’s best friends were also in Palm Beach for the summer, doing odd jobs for the wealthy and taking it easy, until Mickey, the leader hit upon “the perfect score.”
What follows is a nightmare ride of death, fear, and hiding for Ned, while he tries to figure out what went wrong and who set them up. All he has is a name, Dr. Gachet.
Thrilling mystery, page after page!

More than meets the eye!

HoneymoonHoneymoon by James Patterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Intrigue after intrigue!

Great read! This kept me guessing chapter after chapter! The characters are realistic, people you could meet in your daily life but what is behind the mask they project keeps you awed with the games people play. In Honeymoon, the game is to get away with murder and they never saw it coming!

4.0 out of 5 stars Another good intrigue!, February 11, 2017

Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Echoes in Death: An Eve Dallas Novel (In Death, Book 44) (Kindle Edition)
I love a good mystery and being an analytical detective. I must be getting good at it because I knew who it was from the first meeting Eve had with the suspect. I had to read faster just in case another potential suspect came close but I was right and it sort of spoiled the intrigue. Still was a good read and I'll read again like all my collection of books by this favored author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Storytelling Skills!January 11, 2017

Loved by a Dragon by Sarah J. Stone: A Paranormal Shifter Romance (Exiled Dragons Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Amazing storytelling skills!
Ms. Stone does it again with the second book in her Dragon shifter saga.
At first, I was disappointed by the new introduction of key characters and expected the main characters from the first book, Saved by a Dragon.
I was pleasantly surprised with the way she added suspense and fully entwined it with the main characters from the first book. As she built upon the layers of mystery and intrigue, the story kept me riveted with trying to guess what was coming next.
I enjoyed every twist of events in this book and absorbed every word of the story as fast as I could read. I stayed up till one a.m. to finish the book because no way could I sleep without knowing how it ended. That’s a good book!
The exciting news is there is more to come from Sarah J. Stone’s Dragon tales and I can’t wait to start the next book in the series and see how she pulls me back into life among the Dragon shifters!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
