Once upon a time...

When you're Fall Cleaning and you Find Yourself AgainI started this project 10 years ago.....We did a last time PCS (Permanent Change of Station) move with the military and into His retirement.  I put this project in this hatbox and on the shelf it has stayed. Such a joy to open and find my handwork waiting for me!
I work in my office and there is not a lot of free time to craft since our move but Winter is Coming and I'm ready to make time to finish.
I piece by machine and sew the  placement by hand because I like to Hand Sew and Quilt through winters dark and cold days. Add in a warm fire and a steaming cup of tea and I'm Happy Girl!

UNDERCURRENTS -- Life on the Inside of Truth

Under CurrentsUnder Currents by Nora Roberts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As always, great writing and with such a difficult "undercurrent" that has always been happening. Right now, more than we know, with the current pandemic and isolation. The charaters are real with traits that are genuine in our communities. You never know the truth behind closed doors, so we must pay attention to signs and help others with an open caring heart.
The personalities of each charater resonate with the reality of who you meet and how what you experience in life can make you and change you to survival mode. Control is not Love.
My personal favorite character is Darby. Read on and you'll understand why.
Thanks Nora Roberts for another great read!

December came full of Grace.
Filled with Love and Plans of Gathering.
Unexpected change befell our family.
New Year came and went alone as
the lost of a precious life left us in its wake.
A heartbroken of sadness, that only God can remake.
Master, Savior, Sweet Jesus we pray,
Take her into your loving arms,
hold her safe on the journey home.
Amen
